The Niagara Gazette reports that undefeated heavyweight contender Joe Mesi (32-0, 26 knockouts) is returning to the ring on September 15, in a scheduled four-round bout in Michigan. The bout takes place at the Little River Casino, near Grand Rapids.
No opponent has been set for the contest.
The bout marks the fourth time Mesi is stepping in the ring since his medical suspension was lifted.
