Long time referee Joe Cortez was selected by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to work the September 11th WBA-IBF featherweight unification clash between Yuriorkis Gamboa and Orlando Salido.
The three selected ringside judges are Dick Houck, Robert Hoyle and Paul Smith. They all reside in Las Vegas where the fight takes place at The Palms casino. The fight will be televised by HBO.
