Former two-division champion Daniel Santos (31-3-1, 22KOs) will finally land a crack at WBA junior middleweight champ Joachim Alcine (30-0, 19KOs). Santos told El Nuevo Dia that July 5 has been as the date of the fight. He stopped Jose Antonio Rivera last October to land the title opportunity. The fight will take place in Alcine's backyard of Montreal, Canada.

"I'm happy because at last I have a date for my next fight," Santos said. "I have the attitude to win again. I am willing to sacrifice everything to bring the title back to Puerto Rico."
