The Telegram Gazette reports that big boxing card is coming to The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, featuring former cruiserweight champion Vassily Jirov (36-3-1, 30 KOs), Eric "Butterbean" Esch (75-7-4, 56 KOs) and undefeated super middleweight Harry “The Terminator” Simon of Namibia (23-0-0, 17). Simon has not fought since 2002 due to injuries sustained in a serious car accident.

Esch, officially signed for the card, is going to be the star attraction of the show, as he takes on popular local club fighter Joe Siciliano. Worcester promoter and boxing trainer/manager Jimbo Isperduli, said the Esch-Siciliano bout may break the unofficial record for the combined weight of both fighters, which will be close to 700-pounds. The unofficial record is said to 676-pounds.

Jirov and Simon are still in talks to appear on the card, but one of them, if not both, are expected to fight on the show. Isperduli, who promotes the card, is Simon’s manager, and Jirov’s co-trainer and adviser. Lou Duva will also appear on show.
