Jhonny Gonzalez-Ira Terry is Good To Go For July 24

It's been announced that former champion Jhonny Gonzalez [no relation] will face Ira Terry on July 24 in Campeche, Campeche, Mexico. The fight will be broadcast by Televisa. Gonzalez (44-7, 38KOs) will defend his FECARBOX featherweight against Terry (24-3, 14). The show is being put together by Promociones del Pueblo and Promociones Calderón.

"It's a high risk battle," said Promociones del Pueblo director Reginaldo Kuchle. "The fight could be spectacular, as both Jhonny and Terry have promised to give a good fight on that date. Both fighters have trained intensively for several weeks in their respective headquarters and both will arrive in excellent condition for this commitment."
