Jesus Soto Karass: "I'm Not Intimidated By Mike Jones"

A new challenge, a new trainer, new site and a new opportunity to re-claim his place in the world rankings is how Jesus Soto Karass sees his upcoming bout with undefeated Mike Jones, on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium.

"On November of last year I had this great opportunity in the undercard of Pacquiao-Cotto against Alfonso Gomez, but a cut got the fight stopped and I was behind in the fight and unfortunately I lost. But things happen for a reason, and here I am back in another big show against an ever bigger name in a great stadium with all the motivation in the world to win", said Soto Karass.

Soto Karass (24-4-3, 16 KO's) of Los Mochis Sinaloa will take on Mike Jones (22-0, 18 KO's) of Philadelphia in the undercard of the big super welterweight showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito to be televised by HBO Pay-per-view from Arlington, Texas.

"Tough fight against a good fighter, but I am not intimidated at all.  I see this fight as a big challenge and that's why I have prepare myself so well for this fight with my new trainer Joe Goosen,", said Karass.

Karass has been training in Van Nuys, California with Goosen, for what could be the most important fight of his professional career.

"Goosen, has incorporated some new things into my style and I like it. My aggressive style is style the same, but I am going to be doing so other things too in this fight. I have to make the most of this great opportunity. A win against Jones will probably lead to a world championship fight,", said Soto Karass.
