From beautiful Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, the hot prospect from Caguas, Puerto Rico, Jesús Rojas (18-1; 13KO), annihilated a very tough Miguel O. Martínez (14-3; 8KO) at the 2:27 mark of the second round.  It was a solid performance from Rojas, who is making a lot of sound in the super bantamweight division and is now a world title contender.  He is trained by the legendary Emanuel Steward.

In the special attraction of the night, Venezuela's Jeancarlo Prada (25-0; 18KO) defeated José Soto (24-9; 13KO) with a sensational first round KO performance, becoming the new WBC's FECARBOX's welterweight champion.
