Jesus Rojas (18-1-1, 12 KOs) is back and returns to the ring on March 22nd in Puerto Rico, under the promotional banner of Javier Bustillo's Universal Promotions. Rojas will face Mexico's Juan Jose Beltran (28-20-1, 18 KOs) in a scheduled six round bout.

Rojas has been inactive since June 9th of 2012, when he fought to a two round no-contest with Jorge Arce. Rojas was down in the first round, but then started battering Arce in the second. After an accidental foul, Arce said he couldn't continue and the fight was stopped. Rojas was furious after the stoppage, claiming that Arce refused to continue because he didn't want to jeopardize a planned fight with Nonito Donaire.

"I want stay busy and reach a world championship. That first fight will be at 126 pounds but if a beneficial and good opportunity appears, then I can sacrifice a little to get down to 122," Rojas said.
