Earlier today, InterBox announced that former IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (31-2-0, 24 KOs) was making his return to the ring against Roberto Feliciano Bolonti (35-3-0, 24 KOs) on December 6th at the Montreal Bell Centre.  Bute has been inactive since a January decision loss to Jean Pascal.

Promoter Jean Bedard of InterBox is stating that his company is negotiating with Team Pascal, regarding the possibility of having the former WBC light heavyweight king appear on the undercard.

"Jean wants to fight," said Bedard to RDS. "He is not crazy and he's a guy who knows where he is going. If we can put forward a plan that works for everyone, I am sure he will come on board with great pleasure. If it's in the interest of his supporters and his career, Lucian will accept the presence of Jean on the undercard [with no issues]."

Pascal, the mandatory challenger to WBC champion Adonis Stevenson, will look to stay busy as Stevenson is planning a voluntary in the fall.
