Jayson Velez's Return Bumped From Feb. 18 To March 23

Promising super bantamweight Jayson 'La Maravilla' Velez (17-0, 13KOs) will return to the ring on March 23rd in Arizona in a ten round fight. Velez was set for a fight on February 18th in Caguas but Miguel Cotto Promotions notified him of the change.

"There is nothing signed yet but that is what I have been made to understood. It is ten rounds and I will be the headliner. We are working hard to keep winning and get closer to world title fight," he explained.

"I see great things coming and we are all working towards a world title fight and I think it will happen at the end of the year or perhaps sooner. But first I have to pass that my next test on March 23, the biggest fight of my career. It will be my springboard and it will make me decide oh whether I plan to stay where I am, or go down, or move up."
