Two weeks ago at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Arizona, heavyweight Jerrell 'Big Baby' Miller made a successful debut on 'ShoBox' by halting Akhor Muralimov in three rounds. It was an impressive outing that moved Miller too 15-0-1(13 KO's).

Greg Cohen, who co-promotes Miller alongside Dmitry Salita( Star of David Promotions) believes he has the next blue-chip big man from the States.

"I thought Jarrell Miller made a statement that there is a new American heavyweight that everybody should be watching and I think everybody is excited to be watching," Cohen told BoxingScene.com.

"He has devastating knockout power, he has unbelievable personality and charisma and Jarrell Miller, I believe is the next heavyweight champion out of the Brownsville section of Brooklyn."

Cohen says he and Salita - a former professional prizefighter turned promoter - have discussed getting Miller one more fight in 2015 and then getting him another ShoBox date early next year. They believe that putting aside the recognized heavyweight king, Wladmir Klitschko, that within a year or so, Miller will be ready to challenge any other fighter in the division.

The 27-year old Miller weighed-in at 280-pounds for the Muralimov bout, which is a bit heavy for Cohen's liking.

"100-percent, he needs to be lighter," said the promoter, who wants him in the 260-range.

"It's the only criticism I would have. Look, I know he works very hard in the gym, I know he takes this very seriously. I think Jarrell needs some help on the nutrition side of things and I think once he gets that in order, this kids going to be unstoppable."
