Dundee’s Jamie Wilson returns to action on November 23 for the first time since losing a very contentious decision for the British Bantamweight title.

Wilson has since linked up with the St Andrew’s Sporting Club and is looking ahead to his ring return on November 23 at Glasgow’s Radisson Hotel.

Wilson stated, “It feels great to be back and I’m really looking forward to getting in the ring again.

“I'm full of confidence after my last performance. Almost everyone I spoke to believe I won and that I should now be the British champion.

Wilson is one of Scotland’s highest-rated prospect’s, has consistently improved in each of his twelve professional outings.

The 25-year-old opened up about his decision to sign with the St Andrew’s Sporting Club and assesses how it will change his career, starting on November 23.

Wilson said, “I'm very happy with my decision to sign with St Andrew’s Sporting Club!

“I feel that I'm going to continue my progress with them and I’m confident they will deliver me more title opportunities!”

The Dundee man continued and opened up about his ambitions for the future under the guidance of Iain Wilson and St Andrew’s Sporting Club.

“Preparation has been excellent for my next fight as I'm getting top quality sparring I'm feeling strong and I'm always adding improvements to my game all the time!

“I was late into boxing and with only having 10 amateur fights my dream was to fight for a British title! I'm only 12 fights in since turning pro and I've fought for a Commonwealth and British title.

"The Commonwealth came a bit early in my career but was a great experience having topped the bill on an Anthony Joshua show!

“I feel like I should have the British belt so my ambition now is to win a major title which I’m confident of doing under the guidance of Iain Wilson and St Andrew’s!”
