Earlier today in London, a jury found Kanyanta Mulenga guilty of murder in connection with last year's shooting of former British heavyweight champion James Oyebola, stemming from an argument about smoking in a bar.
The 46-year-old boxer was shot by Mulenga in the neck and leg on July 23 of last year, he died four days later. The argument began after Oyebola had asked Mulenga and his friends to stop smoking in a west London bar. Oyebola won the British heavyweight title in 1994 and a bronze medal at the 1986 Commonwealth Games after losing to Lennox Lewis in the semifinals.
