Tonight, LIVE WORLDWIDE on GFL.tv, Jamaal Davis will be in what could possibly the biggest fight of his career, because it could also be his last.  Jamaal "Da Truth" Davis (14-8-1) will be moving up in weight to face WBA #9 ranked middleweight Patrick Majewski (20-1).  Davis, who has fought a who's who at Jr Middleweight, looks to break from his gatekeeper role and position himself for larger paydays.  When I spoke to "Da Truth" this week he gave his thoughts on his upcoming fight.

"I really can't tell you anything about him because he was off of my radar.  I had been fighting at 154 and I was comfortable at 154.  Coming up in weight is a big difference because I only watched the guys at 54 and maybe 47.  Once this came up I was like ok.  I don't watch the fights of people that I am fighting because we like to come up with our own strategies so our corner can be prepared so i haven't watched anything.  I tried watching the Latif fight but everytime it would come on i would leave out the house and go running."

"I hear he is a big puncher.  I hear he believes in his right hand and stuff like that.  That's what works for him.  My goal is to eliminate everything.  If it's his strength then take it away from him.  It's going to be fun."

"I was told that he cuts easy but every fight is different.  He could be prepared for that.  He could be prepared to cut easy by moving his head a little bit more.  We will find out what our strong point will be.  Getting him to fall in to our traps.'

"I want to be more active.  A win here will lead to something bigger down the road.  A top guy or a position for a world title.  I put the work in at the gym.  I feel as though I'm always in the gym.  I'm a gym rat.  After this fight depending on how it goes we will take a week off and be right back in the gym.  We will relax a little bit.  Then the next move will be something good I hope.  We all know everyone trains and prepares to win but it's who has the most heart."

"A loss here would kill me.  I am not getting any younger.  i don't want to be one of those guys that boxes and never really accomplish anything.  I have to start accomplishing now.  I felt good in my last fight and I feel even better in this one.  A win here would be great but i feel a loss would kill me ."

Majewski-Davis as well 5 other action packed fights including a Light Heavyweight crossroads bout between Chuck Mussachio & Lionell Thompson will be LIVE worldwide on GFL.tv from start to finish!  For more info click the link below:
