Jaider Parra of Venezuela won the vacant Fedelatin super featherweight title of World Boxing Association after beating Panama's Joel Cerrud by decision at the Centro de Convenciones COOPEVE in Santiago, Panama. The judges saw the Venezuelan as the winner with scores of 107-105, 105-105 and 106-105

Parra's record is raised to 17 wins, seven by knockout, without any defeats.

The other action, Venezuelan Pablo Vasquez was upset hard when he lost by knockout in the first round against Gilbert Quiros of Costa Rica, who has a record of 18-12-1 and 12KOs. Vasquez tastes defeat for the first time in his career after an unbeaten 18 win record and 17 of those wins were by knockout.

Finally, Ogleidis "La Niña" Suárez decisioned Monica Acosta, in a six-round bout at 129 pounds. Suarez won on the cards with 60-55, 60-54, 60-54, and stayed with a record of 11 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.
