Andre Rozier, the trainer for Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs), couldn't contain his glee over the deal that was finally secured over the weekend that will see his man face WBA, IBF, WBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs). Their HBO Pay-Per-View fight takes place on March 18th at Madison Square Garden in New York.

"I'm super excited, I've been waiting for these negotiations that have taken some time to come to fruition and now it's final," said a joyous Rozier, regarding the official announcement of the deal.

"We're going to get down to the nitty-gritty, we're going to present ourselves and Danny will be fighting 'Triple G' at MSG for the almost undisputed middleweight championship of the world and there's no looking back now."

Rozier added - "Danny will be 195-percent ready by fight time. We're just ready to get into camp mode."

And three of their sparring partners will be boxers that are under the tutelage of Rozier and Gary Stark Jr. in Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Ievgen Khytrov and Avantil Khurtsidze, "and maybe one more," according to Rozier.

Training camp for the Golovkin fight officially started on Monday, according to the trainer Abel Sanchez.

"We'll be starting camp here at home," said Rozier, referring to New York City. "And then we'll probably be going out to Florida to continue camp and prepare for battle."

Golovkin holds the WBA's "super" version of the middleweight title, while Jacobs holds the WBA's "regular" belt. Golovkin was in action back in September, when he traveled over to the UK to stop IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook in five rounds. Jacobs was also in action back in September, when he stopped former world champion Sergio Mora in their rematch.
