Germany - In a battle between two solid European light middleweights, German boxer Jack Culcay-Keth (18-1, 10 KOs) dethroned reigning EBU champion Isaac Real (now 10-1-1, with 5 KOs) with a unanimous decision over twelve rounds, adding the blue strap to his currently owned WBA I/C light middleweight title.
The fight wasn't a walk in the park for the Ecuadorian native, as WBC #10 Real was determined to fight back viciously. Culcay was briefly down in the third after a huge overhand right by Real but the latter failed to capitalize on that. The Spanish fighter has considerably slowed down in the later rounds, and Culcay used his superior skills and speed to get so much needed points.
Scores were: 115-113, 115-112 and 117-110 - for the WBA #4, WBO #8 and IBF #13 Golden Jack. BoxingScene had it 115-112 - also for Culcay.
