Jack Catterall has had his latest opponent named.
The Chorley super-lightweight is set to return to action next weekend.
Catterall, 23, will defend his WBO Inter-Continental belt, exclusively live on BoxNation, at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley, Scotland.
He will come up against Diego Gonzalo Luque of Argentina over 12 rounds, as part of an MGM Scotland card topped by Billy Joe Saunders in the first defence of his WBO middleweight belt against Artur Akavov.
‘El Gato’ is 16-0 with nine early and will go in against 31-year-old Luque (20-3-1, 10 KOs) on the back of two fights this year and a whole host of experience against foreign opponents, as well as a change of trainer from Lee Beard to H’roon Headley.
Luque, meanwhile, is a former WBO Latino title challenger and has boxed four times this year to date, with a record of 3-1 with two stoppages.
Also on the card, former IBF bantamweight world champion Paul Butler looks to get a second win under new coach Joe Gallagher ahead of another assault on global honours in the 118-pound division.
There is also action for Ian Butcher, Tommy Philbin, Ross Murray, Paul Kean, Thomas Dickson and Ahmed Ibrahim.
