After shuffling around several dates and ideas. Puerto Rico Best Boxing has a target date or March 28 for the return of WBO junior flyweight champion Ivan Calderon (32-0, 6KOs). Calderon has been sidelined since suffering a bad cut during last August's rematch with Hugo Fidel Cazares. The event will take place in Puerto Rico.

"We have been in talks with one of the first five ranked contenders of the WBO at 108-pounds and I expect to have an official announcement in the next days. The idea is to have three title fights on the same night," said Ivan Rivera, president of PR Best Boxing, to Primera Hora.

Rivera told the paper that wants to sit down with Top Rank to work something out for Fernando Montiel vs. Eric Morel, who clash for the interim-WBO bantamweight title. Rivera would like to stage that fight on the Calderon card in Puerto Rico, but Top Rank wants to place that fight on the pay-per-view being headlined by Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in Tijuana, Mexico - which takes place on the same day.
