On Monday, BoxingScene.com ran articles where Vanes Martirosyan called out Cornelius Bundrage following his capturing of the IBF junior middleweight title and then Deandre Latimore called Martirosyan out.

BoxingScene has since spoken to middleweight and junior middleweight contender and BoxingScene contributor Ishe Smith about those comments. Smith had this to say - "I would love to get Latimore or Vanes in the ring. These guys kill me with calling out each other and willing to wait for each other instead of just fighting everybody."

Smith recently lost a decision to Fernando Guerrero.  A lot of people thought Smith did enough to get the win.  The former Contender series participant continued, "I got a call to fight Erislandry Lara August 18th the day after I fought Fernando Guerrero.  I accepted the fight and it was the same old story, someone in the Lara camp turned it down and it was never brought up again.  I told my coach (Eddie Mustafa) I am in the fight business and this is what I do."

Smith said that he is willing to fight anyone and found it amusing that Martirosyan called out Cornelius Bundrage (Although in fairness to Martirosyan he has been on BoxingScene calling out Sergio Martinez, Paul Williams, Cory Spinks and others) now that he won a world title.

"I am not ducking anyone or turning down anyone. Nobody was calling out Bundrage before and now that he wins everyone wants a piece of him. I am not going to follow suit.  Congrats to K9 and his family.  I picked him to win and he did. Enjoy your championship and this down time with your family."

Smith finished up by saying, "Everyone else needs to grow some balls and fight."
