Isaac Lowe has been handed another golden opportunity.
The Morecambe featherweight, who is the current Commonwealth champion and a former English title holder, will challenge for the European crown in the new year.
Lowe has a ring record of 13-0-1 with five early and was last in action in September in Manchester, exclusively live on Sky Sports.
And now the 22-year-old ‘Westgate Warrior’ is set to come up against Dennis Ceylan on a date to be confirmed in March.
Ceylan picked up the vacant title with a split decision victory over British champion Ryan Walsh in October.
The 27-year-old (18-0-1, 8 KOs) competed at the 2012 London Olympics as a bantamweight before turning professional.
Ceylan’s clash with Walsh took place at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn, Denmark and the same setting is expected to play host to the undefeated man’s showdown with Lowe.
Further details will be revealed in due course.
