EBU light heavyweight champion Igor Michalkin ( 15-1) defends the title on February 28 in France against official challenger Hakim Chioui (27-4). The show is promoted by Club Sportif Nouzonville Ardennes. Exact site is to be announced.

EC Boxing in Hamburg promotes Michalkin and won the purse bids to stage the fight but have now reached an agreement with the French promoter for the fight to go ahead in France.
