After turning heads with each stateside appearance, Ievgen Khytrov could be looking at a homecoming for his next act.

The unbeaten middleweight has fought each of his 11 pro fights to date in the United States, including a 7th round knockout of Nick Brinson on August 7 in Atlantic City. The Showtime-televised win ran his record to 11-0 (10KOs), already serving as his fourth fight of a hectic 2015 ring campaign.

Khytrov appears to be a fighter to watch in an already loaded middleweight division. However—as often is the case with knockout artists on the rise—the trick becomes finding willing opposition without having to pay well beyond fair-market value for such services.

With that comes talk of his next move, which would be a first for the Ukrainian puncher, who relocated to Brooklyn upon turning pro in 2013.

“He's looking at a fight possibly in Ukraine,” DiBella Entertainment VP Ron Rizzo informed BoxingScene.com. “It's a dream for him to do that and we're happy to help him realize that dream and work with our partners at Fight Promotions (Khytrov’s co-promoter).”

The fight would be his first in his home country since his days spent as a gifted amateur. His run in the non-pay ranks included a trip to London, representing Ukraine in the 2012 Olympics, where he lost to eventual bronze medalist, Great Britain’s own Anthony Ogogo.
