Newly installed IBF president Daryl Peoples will continue to serve as Chairman of the Ratings Committee for the time being.

Peoples replaced former president Marian Muhammad who was ousted by the board of the International Boxing Federation after she had removed both Peoples and Championship Committee chairman Lindsey Tucker who had apparently objected to Muhammad’s appointment of Larry Hazzard to her staff.

Peoples and Tucker were able to muster enough votes in the board to oust Muhammad as well as Hazzard and to regain their positions in the IBF.

Tucker informed us that “currently Daryl (Peoples)  is the IBF President and performing the duties of the Ratings Chairman. I am the Championship Chairman.”
