The IBF have ordered a fight between Osleys Iglesias and Kevin Lele Sadjo as an eliminator for the super-middleweight title held by William Scull.

France’s Sadjo, 34, had been on course to fight his compatriot Christian Mbilli but the unhappiness of Mbilli’s team with conditions surrounding a date in France means that Iglesias, 27, will be replace him as Sadjo’s opponent.

“Iglesias is available and willing,” Camille Estephan of Eye of the Tiger, the promoter of Iglesias and Mbilli, told BoxingScene. He had by then already posted on social media: “IBF has ordered Iglesias vs Sadjo. They say: let’s go. We are ready. More news soon.”

Cuba’s Iglesias, 13-0 (12KOs), stopped Ukraine’s Peter Ivanov in five rounds in November.

Sadjo, 24-0 (21), most recently fought in December, when winning in the fourth against Diego Gabriel Chaves of Argentina.

It is on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when Scull fights Saul “Canelo” Alvarez for the undisputed title at 168lbs.
