Ibeth “Roca” Zamora has reached an agreement to fight for the vacant WBC junior flyweight title against Japanese fighter Naoko Shibata (9-2, 3KOs) on March 3rd in Japan. This was announced by promoter Fausto Daniel Garcia. Zamora holds a record of 16-5, 7 KO’s and began her professional career in 2007. Since then she has faced and defeated some good opponents such as Esmeralda Moreno, Ana Arrazola, Jessica "Kika" Chávez, Anabel Ortiz, Mayela Pérez and Tania Cosme.
