One of the biggest fights to be made on British soil is a welterweight showdown between rivals Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) and Kell Brook (35-0, 24KOs).

The two fighters have been trading words for the last two years. Brook has done his best to bait Khan into the ring, but the Bolton fighter was more focused on a showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and is now negotiating a possible fight with Manny Pacquiao early next year.

Khan is trained by Virgil Hunter, who hopes that at some point his fighter will get in the ring with Brook to settle their dispute.

Like most in the UK, Hunter views that match as something that would be very big for both fighters and the country itself.

"I would hope at some point that they both fight each other," Hunter told Daily Mail. "I know it would be good for Great Britain, good for him and good for boxing."

"I've never pushed him to take the fight because it's obvious there are some things going on between them from long before I came along. Little bits and pieces that I get like 'you disrespected me' or 'you're not well known enough' or who won the sparring sessions when they were amateurs."

"It has all the ingredients for a big fight. I'm sure that if both continue to fight that the fight's going to happen."
