Humberto Soto-Jose Alfaro Set For 9/3, Los Mochis

Humberto "Zorrita" Soto did not want to waste any time. He recently vacated the WBC lightweight title and announced a move in weight to 140-pounds. According to Soto's manager, Antonio "Cañas" Lozada, a deal has been finalized for a fight on Saturday September 3 against tough Nicaraguan Jose Alfaro, the former WBA champion. Soto (56-7-2, 32 KOs) will face Alfaro (25-7-0, 22 knockouts) in Los Mochis. Alfaro is tough but tends to lose nearly every time when he steps up in class.
