Humberto Soto, the lightweight champion of the World Boxing Council, is going old school with his training for the upcoming fight with Japan's Motoki Sasaki, to be held on June 25. Soto is doing a lot of running every day alongside his teammates at the Otomi Ceremonial Center in Temoaya, Mexico. He expects another hard fight with a lot of action.
With enthusiasm, Humberto said: "I came to Temoaya for 20 days and I am very calm. My agent, 'Cañitas' Lozada, told me that they only need to set the location [for the fight] but it could be in Mexico City. My opponent is tough like all Japanese boxers. He is aggressive, he's never been knocked out, and very similar to Urbano Antillón, but he won't take away my dream thanks to the great work that we are doing in Temoaya."
