Former three division world champion Humberto Soto (58-8-2, 34KOs), 32-years-old, plans to redeem himself against Jose Lopez (17-2-1, 10KOs) on November 10th at the Estadio Morelos in Ecatepec, México.
In his last fight, on June 23rd in Los Angeles, Soto was stopped for the first time in his career by big puncher Lucas Matthysse of Argentina. Soto says there were problems with his training camp, claiming to have had personal issues before the fight with Matthysse.
"I've fallen before and I got back up and this time will be no different. Before the fight with Matthysse I had personal problems that affected me in the fight. I was not focused on the fight and lost, but I have the experience and ability to get up again," Soto said.
"I do not like to talk. I will do everything in the ring, which will demonstrate my ability."
