Hugo Hernan Garay Crushes Marcelo Leandro Da Silva

At the Club Deportivo Libertad in Sunchales, Santa Fe, Argentina, former WBA light heavyweight champion Hugo Hernan Garay (33-5, 18KOs) returned to the ring as a cruiserweight and knocked out Marcelo Leandro Da Silva (19-3) in the first round. Garay was returning from two defeats. He was upset by Gabriel Campillo in June 2009 by majority decision to lose his title belt. In March fight that was held in Mexico, the unexpected happened when Chris Henry stopped Garay in the first round. It was the first time Garay had ever been stopped.
