Hughie Fury will face a new opponent later this week when he next steps through the ropes.
The undefeated heavyweight (17-0, 9 KOs) is set to come up against Adnan Redzovic at the ESPRIT Arena in Düsseldorf on Saturday.
Fury, who stopped Emilio Ezequiel Zarate inside two rounds in Bristol on November 14, had been slated to face former Tyson Fury opponent Nicolai Firtha on the undercard of his cousin’s world heavyweight title challenge against Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
But America-based Firtha withdrew from the clash, forcing the 21-year-old’s team to bring in Redzovic (16-1, 5 KOs) at less than a week’s notice.
The Bosnian has been a pro for over 11 years but lost in his only step up to date when he was knocked out inside nine rounds in Switzerland as he challenged Arnold Gjergjaj for the vacant European External European Union heavyweight crown last October.
