WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (35-2-1, 25KOs) is ready to fight Firat Arslan (32-6-2, 21KOs) in a rematch. Last Saturday at the Gerry Weber Stadium in Germany, Huck won a controversial twelve round unanimous decision over the former beltholder. After the bout was over, a lot of fans were unhappy and felt Arslan did enough to get the decision. Huck says there is no issue with a rematch, because he wants to prove the doubters wrong.
"I've went back home and I'm going to take a short break as the battle with Arslan took a lot of energy, strength and endurance. Arslan was one of the strongest opponents that I've faced. It is a pity that the result of the fight has generated such a debate, but I want to emphasize that the scoring has to meet certain criteria. I know: even if by a small margin, that I won the fight. I'm sorry that many do not share my joy of victory. To all of the doubters, I will prove that I was the winner. I am ready to once again fight with Arslan and give him a chance to win the title," Huck said.
