Vladimir "красивый" Hryunov, manager of undefeated WBA "regular" light welterweight champion Khabib Allakhverdiev (19-0, 9 KOs), says his boxer will indeed face Jessie Vargas (23-0, 9KOs) on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, as part of the undercard to Manny Pacquiao's next HBO Pay-Per-View.
BoxingScene.com/Allboxing.ru reported on Tuesday that Vargas was the frontrunner opponent for Khabib's next fight. Hryunov indicated on Wednesday that the fight is now confirmed.
"This fight has been officially confirmed," said Hryunov.
