It was reported by boxing scribe Patrick Finley of the Arizona Daily Star that the long awaited rematch between Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. is a done deal for this coming June. Hopkins, who was in town to promote a card at the Desert Diamond Casino, told the paper that the proposed rematch with Jones is back on and a "done deal" for June.
As most recall, originally this bout was scheduled for March, but the negotiations for the bout fell apart over money, among other issues.
"I'll be in New York Monday to talk about that with HBO. Then you can stick a fork in me." said Hopkins
