WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is heading straight to an autumn unification with WBA champ Andre Ward in the final bout of the Super Six Boxing Classic. If Froch defeats Ward, the Nottingham boxer's promoter, Eddie Hearn, would like to get him a few huge fights - including a showdown with WBC 175-pound champion Bernard Hopkins. Hearn would like to turn Hopkins-Froch into a major Nottingham event, but doesn't rule out the possibility of the contest going to a venue in Las Vegas.

“A stadium fight for Carl in Nottingham would be the obvious stage for a fight with Hopkins,” said Hearn to Gareth Davies of The Telegraph. “But Carl is also highly regarded in America and Las Vegas could be another option. The funny thing about Carl is that he only wants the toughest fights. He just wants to fight the best out there.”
