Mark Taffet of HBO Sports has announced that this past Saturday night's Bernard Hopkins vs. Jermain Taylor pay per view has generated an estimated 350,000 pay-per-view purchases between cable and satellite. It is also being reported that the pay per view revenue generated an estimated $17.5 million dollars. Golden Boy Promotions and Lou DiBella are calling the event a huge success.
The Hopkins-Taylor undisputed world middleweight championship fight will be replayed on HBO on Saturday, July 23 at 10:15 p.m. ET/PT/9:15 p.m. CT and then on the HBO2 service Sunday, July 24 at 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. as well as Tuesday, July 26 at 12 midnight. Times are ET/PT.
