Future Hall of Famer Bernard "The Alien" Hopkins has advised BoxingScene.com that he will part of the HBO broadcast team for Sergey Kovalev's July 25th title defense against mandatory challenger Nadjib Mohammedi.
Hopkins was part of the HBO team for Kovalev's most recent fight, a stoppage victory over Jean Pascal.
The then 49-year-old Hopkins lost an unanimous decision to Kovalev last November in Atlantic City. With the victory Kovalev unified the WBO, WBA and IBF light heavyweight titles.
