Future Hall of Famer and Golden Boy stakeholder Bernard "The Alien" Hopkins will be ringside at the LA Sports Center for this coming Saturday's super lightweight battle between Mauricio Herrera (21-5, 7KOs) and Hank Lundy (25-4-1, 12KOs). The fight will be televised by HBO Latino.

"I am flying out there early next week. I am excited, man. This is a matchup where there is going to be some fireworks. I guarantee that," said Hopkins.

The stakes are high for both hard luck fighters. Both fighters have suffered questionable losses in the past and Hopkins feels that whoever wins this fight on July 11th will have a lot of options open up for them in the near future.

"I know Hank and his team and they are looking to get a break and this is really a make or break fight for Hank. If you look at his last two or three fights he hasn't been on the upside and if you look at Herrera he really needs this win too because it can open up a lot of positive things for him," Hopkins told BoxingScene.com.
