At the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, the ESPN televised main event saw Demetrius Hopkins (30-1, 11KOs) dominate "Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis (22-6-2, 10KOs) over ten rounds to win a unanimous decision in a welterweight contest. The scores were 99-91, 100-90, 99-91.
Welterweight prospect Michael Finney (4-0, 4 KOs) stopped John Dunham in the first round after dropping Dunham down hard with less than a minute left in the contest.
In the televised opener, junior welterweight Francisco Contreras (15-0, 13KOs) went the distance for only the second time in his career, winning an eight round decision over Eric Cruz (7-4, 7KOs). The scores were 80-72, 80-72 and 78-74.
Welterweight contender Joseph Elegele (8-0, 6KOs) late sub William Walton. An exciting first round saw both fighters stun each other. Elegele knocked Walton down at the end of round two. Elegele was battering Walton in the third to force the stoppage.
