The often postponed heavyweight fight between four-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, 48-years-old, and the 38-year-old Sherman "Tank" Williams (34-11-2, 19 KOs), will move forward at the Greenbrier Resort in southeastern West Virginia on January 22.  Holyfield (43-10-2, 28 knockouts) has gone 6-6-1 since last holding the WBA belt in 2000 after defeating John Ruiz.

There were some questions as to whether or not the Williams fight would move forward as planned. Holyfield is already scheduled to take part in the main event of a high profile card in Denmark on March 5. He will face the returning Brian Nielsen.
