The preliminary undercard is now set for the June 28 Jake Paul-Julio Chavez Jr. DAZN Pay-Per-View event.

Headlining the six-fight prelim lead-in card, Holly Holm, 33-2 (9 KOs) returns from retirement after more than a decade to face unbeaten Yolanda Vega, 10-0 (1 KO) in a scheduled ten-round lightweight contest from Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Joining the former boxing welterweight and UFC bantamweight champ is a healthy mixture of boxers who range from rising prospects to former titlists.

John ‘Scrappy’ Ramirez’, 14-1 (9 KOs) aims for his second win following a loss to David Jimenez in their interim WBA 115lbs title fight last April.

An opponent was not yet confirmed for the 28-year-old East Los Angeles native, who is set to join training and managerial stablemate Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez (no relation) on the show. Mexico’s Ramirez 47-1 (30 KOs) defends his unified WBA/WBO cruiserweight titles against Yuniel Dorticos, 27-2 (25 KOs) in the evening’s chief support.

Rising junior lightweight Victor Morales, 20-0-1 (10 KOs) fights for the first time in 2025. It will come against former WBA 130lbs titlist Rene Alvarado, 34-16 (22 KOs) in a ten-round junior lightweight crossroads bout. Morales – a 27-year-old budding contender from Vancouver, Washington - first broke through with an April 2023 stoppage win over Diego De La Hoya.
