Manager Dennis Hobson tells Sky Sports that he will urge Clinton Woods to continue his career. Woods told reporters in aftermath of last Saturday's decision loss to Antonio Tarver, that he would seriously consider retirement.

Hobson does not want his fighter to finish his career on a sour note.

"Clinton's a lot better than that, and I don't want him to finish without doing himself justice. He's come back from setbacks before, and I want a happy ending. He can't go out like that," Hobson said. "Clinton didn't get out of first gear and he never got his momentum going. Tarver could have been almost 49 years old and he could have boxed at that pace.

Hobson still has high hopes that Woods will land the fight of his dreams.

"Who knows, maybe someone like Joe Calzaghe will finally fancy fighting him now," Hobson said.

Not quite.
