According to Carl Froch's promoter Mick Hennessy, the fight with Arthur Abraham on October 2 in Monaco has not received the royal approval of Prince Albert II. Speaking with The Mirror, Hennessy said the tickets have yet to go on sale because the promoters have not received the proper approval from the Prince. The fight is set to happen at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille Casino.

"We have to go through the motions, but Carl has started sparring," Hennessy said.

Froch-Abraham went through a lot of trouble to pick a neutral location. Froch refused to take the fight in Germany and Abraham ruled out Nottingham. Monaco was a location approved by both. The showdown is part of the third stage of fights in Showtime's ongoing Super Six Boxing Classic.
