Herlev, Copenhagen, Denmark - Super Brian (retired heavyweight Brian Nielsen) and Mogens Palle Promotion staged their first show tonight at Herlevhallerne on the outskirts of Copenhagen and here are the results:

Super middleweight Daniel Heinze outscored Brazilian veteran Sanmir Santos Barbosa, 36-14-3, over eight two minute rounds. It was scored 80-72 on all cards. Heinze, making his debut, looked good outboxing Barbosa and kept his opponent on the ropes for long spell. Barbosa was never hurt though and forced Heinze back at times.

Heavyweight Pierre Madsen turned pro and floored American Randy Billiott, 0-2, twice for a stoppage at 1.43 of the first. It was scheduled for 6x2.

Veteran super middleweight Lolenga Mock, 43, outscored Italian Alessandro Sinacore over ten. Mock´s best days are behind but his strength and conditioning remain excellent and while a bit slow he kept the pressure up for a deserved win. Sinacore, a southpaw, tried to counter and did well at times but Lolenga was over all too strong for him, It was scored 97-93, 96-94 and 95-95.

In his last visit to Denmark Ghanaian veteran Charles Adamu, now 24-8, took Patrick Nielsen, 25-1, the distance in title fight over twelve three minute rounds. Tonight he lost an eight round unanimous decision over eight two minute rounds to Andreas Lynggaard, now 2-0. It was scored 78-74 twice and 78-75 after a fast paced fight where Lynggaard´s speed made the difference. Adamu was stronger and his experience showed but he was too slow - something he showed against Nielsen as well.

Cruiser Tobias Soerig made his debut and beat Latvian Marek Kovalevskis, 2-18-2, over six (6x2) on scores of 60-52 twice and 60-51. Kovalevskis was down in the first and third and went over a few more times more without a count. Soerig has only 22 amateur fights behind him and has a long way to go but got a good learning fight from his opponent.

Light heavyweight Jonas Madsen made his pro debut and outscored British cruiser Curtis Gargano, 0-10-1, over six two minute rounds. Madsen won every round and looked promising while Gargano entertained the crowd with his showboating and spoiling.

The evening opened with Portuguese Gonzalo Pimenta, 2-3-1, winning a come from behind TKO win over Morten Olson, 2-1. Olson opened the fight at a furious pace but Pimenta was tough and never fell apart despite some rough moments. Olson kept coming and it developed into a hard-fought brawl with no quarters given. Early in the fifth the Dane walked into a counter and was hurt, he bravely tried to fight back but Pimenta gave it all he had and Olson was out on his feet when it was stopped 1.31 into the round.
