The lanky 6'1, Hector "El Flaco" Sanchez (19-1, 9KOs) is prepared for battle as he faces the dangerous Vincent Arroyo (11-1, 7KOs) on September 9 at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota. This fight will be a 10 round welterweight affair and the main event of Showtime's series "ShoBox: The New Generation." These two boxers were scheduled to fight each other on June 11 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York, but Garcia suffered an injury in training.

"This is a great opportunity to get a little closer to my goal of fighting for a world title and I won't miss it," said Sanchez, who as an amateur won a bronze medal in the Junior Olympics in New Orleans. "Without a doubt I feel that this is indeed the best preparation that I've done for a fight, because it's going to be a tough battle with Arroyo, who is strong and very experienced.
