The word coming out of Mexico has the Association of Boxing Commissions placing Hector Camacho Jr. on suspension for backing out of a fight with Yory Boy Campas back on November 8 at Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, Mexico. Camacho was replaced late by Saul Roman, who upset Campas after the veteran injured his right hand and was unable to continue in nine rounds of action.

Camacho was also said to have been fined an unknown amount. Camacho denied that backed out of the event. He claimed the event promoter never sent him a contract for the fight. The suspension, according to reports in Mexico, prevents Camacho from fighting in America, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
