The career of Lucas Browne, the Australian who once held the secondary WBA strap, continued its descent last night when he was stopped - for the fourth consecutive time - by Germany's Arman Khudoyan in Leverkusen in the sixth and final round.

Brown, now 46, is without a win since his upset victory over Junior Fa in 2022 and all of the defeats he's encountered in his 31-7 (27 KOs) career came inside the distance. The veteran did manage to stay on his feet against Armenia's Khudoyan, 7-0 (2 KOs), but was taking a beating on the ropes before the referee stepped in to end the contest.

At super middleweight, Germany's Steven Nduka, 11-0 (6 KOs), knocked out Nicaragua's Roberto Arriaza, 21-14 (16 KOs), in the fifth round with a right uppercut.
