Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom is looking put together a massive stable in the United States - with the recently announced venture with Perform Group.

Hearn announced an eight year deal with Perform Group - worth a reported $1 billion - as the British promoter will stage 16 exclusive events per year in the United States for DAZN, which is Perform Group's streaming service.

According to numerous sources, only two of those years are actually guaranteed in that eight year pact.

Hearn is moving very quickly with is invasion of America.

The British promoter has already opened up a fully staffed office in New York City.

And he's already begun to contact numerous boxers with multi-fight offers to join his stable.

Fighters like Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Deontay Wilder, Keith Thurman, Adrien Broner, Andrzej Fonfara, Adam Kownacki and several others have have either confirmed Hearn's approach or refused to provide details of their discussions.

With the high amount of money in Hearn's grasp - he intends to put together the "biggest stable" ever seen on American soil.

“It’s a dream come true,” said Hearn to The Daily Telegraph.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to build an unrivalled stable in world boxing. When we came to the US, we really needed a platform that would give us the volume of dates we needed to grow, and we needed a huge war chest to go out and get the very best fighters in the US.

“My job is to put the biggest fights on DAZN in the US, and build the biggest stable of fighters ever seen in the US. With the war chest I’ve got, I have every opportunity to do it. There is no excuse.

“All the promoters in the US want us to fail. Everyone will say it’s a new platform and it might not work. And I could see the argument, but not with the amount of money I have to spend.”
