IBF welterweight Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs) is potentially going to become one of the most sought after opponents in the welterweight division. Brook finally arrived at the top level of his division on Saturday night in Carson, after winning a twelve round majority decision over undefeated Shawn Porter to capture the IBF belt.
Brook, promoted by Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, has no ties to any of the American networks or any of the American promoters - making him a possible opponent for every welterweight name promoted by both Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.
"I've mentioned the names - Pacquiao, Mayweather. Those are the long-term goals but now it's about going back to Britain and celebrating a new world champion. We'll be doing a lot of planning over the next couple of weeks. We'll look for that big fight next year - maybe with Khan or maybe with Pacquiao or Mayweather," Hearn told Sky Sports.
